How Legacy Atlas users provide consent to receive text message notifications
This form appears in the user's Profile page (Settings → Profile) after login.

Consent: By selecting Text or Both, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from Legacy Atlas regarding your account, secure messages, emergency access alerts, and trial status reminders. Message and data rates may apply. You can change your preference back to Email at any time from your Profile settings to stop receiving text notifications.
Users opt in by entering their phone number and actively selecting "Text" or "Both" as their communication preference in the Profile page. No preference is pre-selected — the user must manually choose an option and click Save. No SMS is sent unless the user actively chooses a text-based option.
Only transactional messages are sent: secure message alerts, emergency access alerts, and trial status reminders. No marketing or promotional content is sent via SMS.
Users can change their preference back to "Email" at any time from their Profile settings, which immediately stops all SMS notifications.
All recipients are registered Legacy Atlas users who manually provided their phone number and actively selected a text-based communication preference.
